PRIORITY OF TEAMS
Acts shows
us the priorities of church planting and cities, but it
also shows us how to reach the cities through
church planting: with teams.
Acts names many of Paul's 'team members':
13:2 Barnabas
13:5 John
15:36-41 Silas
16:1-3 Timothy
16:6-10 Luke
18:18 Priscilla and Aquilla
19:22 Erastus
19:29 Gaius and Aristarchus
20:4 at least eight more people!
Paul’s teams included pastors and lay people; younger
and older; rich and poor; Roman, Jewish, and other races;
men and women; singles and married couples; tentmakers and
a doctor!
What an example of how ministry should be
done! Not 'lone ranger,' but team!
Who is on a church planting team? A team has to have
prayer, people, and provision. Intercessors, "goers," and
