This terrain map shows how Rancho sits nestled up against the mountains on the north side of a large basin (the Inland Empire). Menifee is in the southeast corner of this map:
We are excited that this church planting location is toward the more dense metropolitan areas of Southern California, not further away. This population density map helps to illustrate that going to Rancho Cucamonga (from Menifee) is heading toward the city center, not getting further away from it:
With good traffic, the drive from Menifee to Rancho Cucamonga takes about 45 minutes. Of course we would have liked to have the next church plant even closer, but in Southern California a 45 minute drive is considered fairly short. As you can see from the maps above, much of Southern California is more than 45 minutes away from Menifee.
